How have the first few days gone for everyone?
There have been quite a few changes this year for a looping team~ new classrooms, lockers, principal, assistant principals, science teacher, school name…!

the first day is hard becausee youu have to get used to new classes and lcoker combonations and stuff like thattt.
well, the first day is always hard for me because, i have trouble opening my locker, finding my new classes, and following my new schedule. but the first day is also more fun than the rest of the school year. you get to try and find your classes, and see if any of your friends are in any of your classes=]

the first few days have been WEIRD! i have never known that lockers could get so small!
i love the first few days of school. See old friends and make new ones. New teachers or the ones you had last year. Today I read a saying that said," Hero need not speak. When he is gone, the world will speak for him." I think that means that if someone dose some that changes the way us do stuff the world will also change. If any one think that means other wise please answer.

The first day of school was kind of boring cause we went over what we were gonna do for the year & stuff. Also i think the new principal is very strict. We cant or arent suppost to talk at are lockers or thats what my homeroom teacher said. But anyway..your class (( mr.howman )) is fun as always and makes me not wanna fall asleep. ( oh and by the way thanks for picking me first to do that artical talk thingy in front of the class ) :)
Hi Mr.H. I like how you and I both have blogs. This will be so much fun. I can't wait to spend a whole nother year with you.So, I thought it was hard the first day of 8th grade, because we got those small lockers. we have to find out how to get rid of the mold in your room because i am literally becoming sick, anyways i will see you during the school year.

the first day of school is always easy for me. im used to the classrooms,schedules,lockers, and being so far away from so many other classes. :)

the first few days are weird but fun seeing the ppl that you haveent seen in like 3 months and seeing all of your old teachers but the boring thing is that you have to listen to something over and over again.

I think the first day is so much fun to see eeveryone you didnt get to see much this summer..i was excited to see all my friends. now that we are etting homework and stuff
im starting to get back to not liking school (:

Sorry that I haven't responded to some of your comments- let me catch up! Kyle- how is the chemical business going?! Amanda- just think how hard the first day was for the 6th graders! I'm glad the majority of the other comments were positive about getting back to school. Nicole~ it's all what you make of school...keep putting effort into what you are learning and you might just enjoy school (or at least be able to tolerate better).
Matt, I like the quote you posted. Very insightful~ if you combine the title of this blog with your quote- one could take the basic message away that actions speak louder than words. The squeeky wheel may always get the oil but the squeeky wheel is easier to dislike!
On the first day of school it is hard to fit in trying to get used to new and more difficult classes and a new locker combination and etc.

P.S. The reason why you won't know that I'm Organized because of the Field Trip to the Imax theatre.
John~ I welcome the day when all students are organized and on top of what they are suppose to do. Getting you organized is step in the right direction...keeping yourself organized will be the challenge. I have confidence that you can do it...it's just a matter of following through and wanting to do it.
