Go Sox!!!
The World Series begins Wednesday night this week in Boston. If you are a New England sports fan- Patriots, Red Sox, or Celtics you are experiencing possibly the best time of the region’s sports history.
The Patriots are undefeated after their first seven games. The Red Sox are in the World Series for only their 11th time in history- but yet, twice in the last four years. And the Celtics have a powerhouse team that are predicted to do big things this year.
The Patriots have sold out every home game since 1994 and the Red Sox have the second longest streak of home sellouts, filling Fenway to capacity for the 388th consecutive time!
So many lessons can be learned through participating in sports, both as a player and a fan. I would like to hear stories about experiences that bring good memories to mind that are related to sports. What memories do you have or lessons you have learned because of sports?
Was it a great catch that you made in an important game?
Maybe, it was pending time with your grandfather by going to a PawSox game at McCoy Stadium?
Or, watching your sister compete at a dance competition.
Any and all memories, experiences, feelings, or lessons learned through sports are welcome!!

i've always been active with sports. one the most things that people remember at base ball games are when people fight witch cause some of the playersto exject from the game. i remember one time in a basketball game when one of the fans yelled and threw something at a player and there was abig fight and fines were used because of it. Also when bary bonds bet the most homeruns. I was very surprise because bary should have been disquafine because he use seriods and got in troblem. In sports there are always something diffenert in every game that could make history. I also remember last year that mr. Howman showed per d socil studies that the manger from a baseball team got mad at the call and show his anger through his action he was going around the feild and throwing the bases and doing other stuff. That was very funny!!!! Any way sports are even fun to play. I play BAseball, Soccer,And basketball.
see ya at school,
wexler
PS i love the yankees and i hope Joe the manger stays on the Team.
well to tell you the truth, i'm not into sports like baseball but i can get into hockey if i wanted to. I will watch baseball sometimes or go see a pawsoxs game everyonce and a while. I remember one time when i went to go see a pawsoxs game. It felt so much fun, it was my first time going and when i saw the batters first hit i was so intrested. I also remember when i went to go see my first hockey game, now that was fun, and i was screaming so much because i was really into the game. I remember seeing a fight happening, to tell you the truth i thought it was really funny. I like hockey because to me its more action, and its on ice, the first time i went i really wanted a hockey puck because they were throwing them out to people, but never got one.
i never get to see any games anymore because i'm always so busy or doing something.
well see ya at school,
Jessika S. (:
I LOVEEEEE sports. i play softball and i do cheerleading i used to do soccer. But it got to much for me with school and cheerleading too.I missed alot of pracitces and games because of cheerleading. And Matt he showed my class too! I thought that was hilarious. My dad also showedme it on youtube! You can learn alot from sports. You can learn about teamwork and you make aot of friends off of them. In cheerleading and my softball team we all grew close and became really good friends. Playing sports also helps your health
Well Ihave to go.

I have always been an athletic sprinter. I run at least two miles everyday! Mr. Howman showed us a clip of a baseball player gone mad! He was pretending he was in a war, kicking the bases around, pulling stuff out of the ground, and screaming at the catcher! But sports are always fun to play and are good for your body parts. I practice karate and sprint.

I have memories from playing and watching sports. Espically soccer. I love the rush you get when you sprint. It feels like you can fly. It's awesome! AND... when yu score that's an even bigger rush. it annoys me when kids are like, it's not that dfficult, all you do is kick a ball, it's like saying you baketball is so dumb all you do is hit the ball down! I hate it!
I hope red socks win the world series sooo we could rub it in the yankees faces again!!!!!! that would be funnyyy even thoo they would be like ahh thats one timeee get over ittt lol well best luck redsockssss!!!!!!!! byee
If this team stays I personaly think I this team could break records just like the Pats.
Go Sox!!! 2007 World Series Champs!
I guess staying up untill twelve was worth it. The Patriots have beaten every team, if they keep on this winning track they will be the BEST football team EVER!!!
Go Pats!!! I am a big Celtics fan too!! I think a bit more practice will bump them up with the Soxs and the Pats. I'm a HUGE Sports fan!!
i dont like base ball
its soo boring
all they do is hit a ball and run
its like what the point?
they do the same thing every time they playy...
Sorry Matt, looks like you will have to root for the Dodgers with Joe Torre as their manager!
i dont like alot of spotrs becaouse they are usually the same thing
but when your playing them you learn alot about what your doing
learning about your teammates, having fun .
i like dancing better than sports becouase you do really have to play by the rules there isnt like outs or scores you just do what ever and its always different to whatch.

I used to play T-ball. and it was really fun. I made lots of new friends and they helped me out. I did great. well good for a second grader at least. and now i have a trophy and a Tee shirt from my team, the Tigers. I also was on a cheerleading team. our team was awesome, even though we didn't win in Competition we were full of spirit. i also made really good friends there too.
During a vacation I went to a camp and they bring us to many different places. One time they brought us to a Paw Sox game and at first I thought it was going to be boring but My friend who was sitting next to me was interested in baseball. She tought me a lot about it and ever since then I have been a fan of the Red Sox!!
